Scott Jennings uses thin slabs of porcelain and paper patterns that suggest the final piece to create his unique hand-built tableware. From teapots to the humble cup, Scott captures the plasticity of the material in each piece. The rough forms are pinched, stretched, and patterned then he leaves clues as to how each piece was constructed in the form of exposed seams. He uses simple glazes that accentuate the details in the form.
