Clay Mix is proud to present a ceramic art exhibition by Craig Easter which will run from April 7th through April 30th. After working in clay more than 40 years, Craig continues to challenge himself to create his ceramic art. This exhibition includes his most recent eighteen panel wall piece as well as a series of white bowls with a focus on form and texture. Craig says “there is work still to be done – finding ways to translate the beauty of the surrounding environment and interpret it into a clay object”. The opening reception is from 5pm to 8pm on Thursday, April 7th during ArtHop.

Craig Easter was born in Bakersfield, California and he spent his childhood in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Costa Rica and Honduras. He started pottery while attending Reedley College. He has exhibited nationally with The American Craft Council since 1978. He is an emeritus member of the Association of California Clay and Glass Artists. He has been teaching wheel throwing classes at Clay Mix since 2008.
